Case in point, how about the straight adult studios that promote bareback sex amongst a man and a woman! That is disgusting because it shows to other straight people that is alright to have unprotected sex! I hope that this is not a one-sided debate focused on gays!

Bravo on this open letter! No one really cares if the performers in porn are having a pleasurable experience (they are actors, after all). So, the argument that barebacking is more pleasurable goes out the window. What does that leave us? Profit. Bareback porn is all about profit.

Bareback producers are only concerned with their bottom line, not their “bottoms”. Bareback producers are morally bankrupt. We need both testing and condom usage.

Before people jump at me for implicating other people, I’ll mention that this issue affects my bottom line. I run two free gay adult sites (a blog and a tube site). I refuse to promote barebacking websites, even though I know I’d make far more money if I did.

Thanks to Kyle and Cocky Boys for making a public statement. I know I’ve featured this site on my blog before. But, now I will go out of my way to promote Cocky Boys. Responsible business owners should be commended.

I am so proud that you wrote this open letter. I am a consumer of porn and I am offended by the companies fighting testing. And the idea that its not done because of cost is not only offensive but should result in some kind of investigation.

I am glad there are still people will to stand up for what is right. And there will always be people ready to stand with you.

I agree with the spirit behind your open letter even if I quible with some details. I still believe if two models are AIM tested then the use of condoms is irrelevant.

Bareback is a standard sexual practice among gay men and simply making decrees or the early black balling and black listing of performers(who did bareback) was completely ineffectual.

Where I agree wholeheartedly is your description of Gay DVD Studios(and we all know WHO we are taking about)

Telling models to slap a condom on AND provide Your own Test results at model cost is a total copout!

Cal Osha regulation will destroy California Porn production, the customer has already voted and prefers Bareback,,giving Condom only porn a Govt Mandate will simply tag condom porn as Safe and boring thus “ruining the appetite” of the pornsumer for condom porn.

Dont agree?

By mandating condom use Cal OSHA will immediately elevate Bareback to status as FULLY TABOO insuring its eventual dominance of gay Porn.

Human Psychology is not to be trifled with.
